When autumn rolls around, it means that everyone’s back to university/school. For those flying the nest and moving out, it means university halls. I’m going into my second year this year, studying Music Journalism at Southampton Solent University. Southampton is a great city and I’m going to give you a little look into my room at my new accommodation.

The studio flat I have for this year (and probably next year) is owned by a company called Vita Student, who specialise in luxury flats for students studying in a variety of cities in the UK including Exeter and Manchester. Vita also provide bedding and kitchen kits, with all your essentials like pots and pans so I didn’t have to worry about any of it when I moved in. I decided to decorate my flat to make it as homely as possible but not so much that I missed home. Check out the pictures below.

There’s also a kitchen in the flat, with a microwave and sink.

I couldn’t resist bringing my little bear with me 🙂
I bought some jars recently to store things like quinoa and popcorn kernels, aren’t they cute?
I love it at Vita, it feels so homely and there’s a real community feel with all the residents. What do you think? Don’t forget to follow me on Twitter, Facebook and Bloglovin’ to keep up with all my posts in one place.
