2018 is just around the corner and I really wanted to write some personal goals I’d to complete.
1. Write more!
I don’t write on this blog anywhere near as much as I should. It’s also partly why I decided to Blogmas this year – I wanted to get inspired to write. For me it’s not about being the next Zoella, but just having a creative outlet for my love of music.
2. Run a 10K
I know my family will just laugh with the idea of me running a 10K, but I want to genuinely get fitter and take up running again. A 10K is one of the things I’ll strive to complete by the end of the year.
3. Get to 10,000 steps every day
The first step to getting to that kind of distance is to walk the recommended 10,000 steps a day with the help of my FitBit. My lunchtime walks (and hopefully runs) should help with that.
4. Post more on Instagram
I know social media is supposed to be ruining our lives, but there’s one tool I’ve never really used that well which is Instagram. I only post blog stuff on it and it’d be nice to post more personal stuff on there.
5. Go clubbing
I don’t like clubbing anyway, but a certain incident in 2015 put me off clubbing for life and I get extreme anxiety when I even think about it.
It isolated me a lot at uni but now I’ve grown in confidence, I’d like to try clubbing again. If I don’t enjoy it then fair enough, but I’d at least like to say I’ve been for the first time in nearly 3 years!
There’s just 5 of the things I want to complete by the end of 2018. I know I’m wishing time away but it’s nice to write down what you want to achieve to look back on in a year’s time.
